Last summer, it was time for me to say goodbye to my dining room table and small storage area I called an office and create a more proper, workable space. The only place in the house where this made sense was my bedroom. It’s a really large master bedroom and even with oversized furniture and a king bed, I still had ample space for shelving, a desk, a chair and more.
So, at the recommendation of my friend who said that it would be a good spot for a bedroom, we set to work. Visits to IKEA and Home Sense were all I needed, plus some hard work by Andy and I to clean out a space for all if it.
In the end, I was able to set up my working space near a window so I get some natural light, in a room with a door (so I can take phone calls and work in peace as needed) and with lots of storage to help keep me organized. That last part only works some of the time but it’s definitely better than it was.
Here’s a little peek at my space!
