Weekend Mornings
Weekend mornings usually look something like this:
Up too early
Coffee
Playing
Home made breakfast, usually cooked by my husband
Playing
Laughing
Pyjamas
More coffee
Cuddles
Reading
More coffee
I love them. When my husband was on parental leave, almost all of our mornings looked like that. I like the slow pace, the togetherness and the relaxed nature.
I will miss them when the day comes when we are running around, rushing out the door to sports or classes or errands.
I love these weekend mornings.
I wish tomorrow wasn’t Monday.

I love weekend mornings for all those reasons too, but never do I have a second cup of coffee for some reason. In fact, some weekend mornings I don't even drink coffee – I know, SHOCK! But yeah, I love just hanging out at home with my boys. LOVE it. 🙂

That sounds a lot like our mornings! Usually we are in PJs until noon. Sometimes our mornings involve piling onto the queen sized bed and making a tent under the covers. Yesterday both kids were under the sheet-tent with the sun pouring in. I wished I'd had my camera at that moment.

I'm with you on wishing tomorrow wasn't Monday! I love weekends. Ours usually involve homemade breakfast too though today we splurged and went out for brekkie. We have my stepkids every other weekend so it makes us very inconsistent. When they are here we usually have more running around to do with birthdays/activities/etc.

I love the relaxed feel of the weekends (except for when Son No. 1 has hockey and then it's mad running around and putting on layers of equipment).
