Strawberry Shortcake

Basket of fresh, local strawberries.
Whipped cream
And fresh tea biscuits.

For those of you in the Ottawa area, head to the Landsdowne Farmer’s Market and swing by the Avonmore Berry Farm booth. They have the most amazing biscuits. They are located near where I grew up so I got to enjoy them often.

The other way to eat them – warm them and serve with maple syrup poured on top. Yum!
