Spring Fashion: Mama Went Shopping

It was time that I finally bought some new spring wardrobe pieces.  The hand me downs that my younger sister gave me last year were really great, especially since I was still nursing and my weight/body shape wasn’t quite consistent yet.  But now, my body is pretty steady in shape/size and I needed to refresh what was in my closet.

A quick trip for Joe Fresh clothing resulting in some pretty and fashionable pieces that I’ll be able to integrate in my already existing wardrobe.  I still need a few new pairs of pants – even 1 additional pair of jeans would be nice, but for now I think I’m in pretty good shape.

Bright colours seem really popular this year (especially orange) but I don’t wear a lot super bright colours.  I don’t think orange is the best colour for my complexion, but coral/pinks aren’t too bad.

There is a lot of navy and I love navy.  At first my cart was full of navy options and I finally decided to trade a few to vary my colour choices.

I paid no more than $29 for any piece, and paid as low as $8 for a basic white tank top.

I’m pretty happy with my finds!!

I originally had a navy top but my daughter suggested 'pink' instead. It is flowy and pretty and will be great with jeans or capris
Navy blouse is very light. I love three-quarter length sleeves and the collar on this.
Green and I usually get along. This one will be nice with jeans or dress pants (grey or black) so it gives me some versatility. In the winter, I'll pair it with a sweater/jacket
A dress for $29? I was sold. There was only 2 left - this champagne/black one or a champagne/orange one. This won out. Love the cut. Now, where to wear it?
That dress is begging to be warn with my champagne heels I bought last year, isn't it?

I wouldn’t mind adding some new flats to my shoe collection at some point too.  Just saying.

What are the colours in your spring wardrobe looking like?  Will you be going shopping to add anything specific this spring?
