Change

Hi! Notice something different? Yes! I have an entirely new theme. It’s pretty spiffy isn’t it? The truth is, this wasn’t by choice. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve been considering it for a bit, but really didn’t see a reason to change, and since I tend to resist anything that is technically stressful, and there was no reason to change the old look, it remained as it was.

Only, there were plenty of reasons to change the old look. Ultimately, the biggest reason was simply that the theme was completely messing with the site. Far too often lately, I’ve had issues with the site loading, saving, and so on. So it was time.

Turns out, change can be good. I’m pretty thrilled with the new look so far. There’s still some adjustments to be made. As I type this post, the Facebook plugin on the side bar isn’t working even though I followed the instructions, and I still have to finish filling out my social icons.

But. It’s pretty nice to have a fresh new look. This summer, Andy set up all of my categories to make more sense, and we are still going through the 1000 old posts to get them into the right spot, but it’s coming along. Browse around and maybe you’ll discover something old that is new to you!
