On Wednesday, we will be celebrating Canada Day!
I pulled out a children’s atlas we have and talked to the Boy about Canada being the country he lives in (he knows the city is Ottawa) and that on Wednesday it’s Canada Day.
Today at craft time, we did a Canada Day collage:
We talked about Canada symbols like the Beaver, RCMP, Maple leaf and the Canada Flag.
Then, we did a variation of this craft from Don’t Eat the Paint at Everything Mom (by Allie of No Time for Flash Cards)
He is obsessed with flags, and with the ripping and globs of glue he got to put on it,we had fun doing this.

Now, here’s hoping the rain stays away on Wednesday so we can get outside to celebrate.
