A New Beginning

Yesterday was the last day of my husband’s parental leave.  Instead of focusing on how sad I am about that, I will briefly highlight some of the things that made our time together with the kids special, that will always be remembered and that will be our focus as we move into the future.

-Visiting Family

-Car trips

-Niagara

-Baseball

-Early morning coffee

-Crab legs

-Children’s laughter, smiles, hugs and horseplay

-Mid-day hugs

-Last minute outings

-Ice cream

-Love

We have thousands of pictures from over the past many months, and thousands of memories that I can’t even start sharing each one, some will remain inside family jokes or special moments forever.

A new chapter is starting, but at least I know it’s starting on a foundation of warmth, love, and happiness.
