Okay, so maybe it’s supposed to be about love, blah blah blah, but really, do I need a specific day to tell my spouse how much I love him? Or how awesome he is? No. It is, however, a wonderful excuse to buy and enjoy chocolate.
I am lucky and happy to be attending the Yummy Mummy Club Winterlude chocolate event on Saturday, February 13th. It will be nice to do a mummy only event, meet some of the great people I’ve been in touch with via Twitter and, well, enjoy some chocolate at the Cordon Bleu.
I’ve also placed an order from Crazy 4 Chocolate, an Orleans based chocolatier that I discovered last year. Last year I was very pregnant for Valentine’s Day (I was due on the 14, 15, or 16 depending on what ultrasound I believed!) and Sue was kind enough to deliver my order for the weekend. We really loved the selection and taste. So, I’ve ordered again for this year!
While I may love flowers, on Valentine’s Day I’d rather a bouquet of chocolate.
