Do you remember when I wrote about the DuffleBag Theatre coming to the Shenkman Arts Centre (a blog advertiser)? My daughter and I went to see Cinderella and really really enjoyed it. She laughed and participated and we had a great time.
Well, DuffleBag Theatre is back with a fun twist on Peter Pan!
For their third show at the Shenkman Arts Centre on March 23 at 2 pm, you can take your little Lost Boys, Tinkerbells, mini pirates and those who never want to grow old to the DuffleBag Theatre’s take on the classic story of Peter Pan.
Join Peter as he takes on his nemesis, the infamous Captain Hook, and be prepared for crowd participation (and laughter) throughout.
PLUS the Shenkman Arts Centre is working with the Orleans Young Players to provide some pre-show activities and costumed theatre acting in the Upper Lobby prior to the show from 12:45 until 1:45. Space for this experience is limited and costs an extra $5 with tickets being purchased in advance via phone at 613-580-2700 or in person at the Box Office.
Interested in making sure you have your tickets for Peter Pan? Order online!
A few notes from Shenkman Arts Centre about this play: It is best suited for family members aged 4 and older and the play is about 45 minutes long with no intermission.
I’ve written many times on this blog how much I love live theatre with the kids – this is another wonderful opportunity presented by the Shenkman Arts Centre!
