March Break! YAY! Now, if the weather cooperates, many of us will be able to get outside with the kids – which we all need after a very long, and cold winter. But, if you are looking for some fun ideas on what to do over March Break, I’ve rounded up a couple that might help save your sanity:
What To Do In Ottawa On March Break
Canadian Museum of History* – A week of snow fun, maple syrup taffy and more awaits!
Canada Agriculture and Food Museum – Activities are planned daily including maple syrup taffy, activities in the demonstration kitchen and of course the barnyard animals are waiting!
Place d’Orleans – The Mall is ready for you with magic shows, musicians, plasma cars and more fun!
Free Skating at various City of Ottawa rinks – Rinks across the city are free on Saturday and Sundays!
Tag Along Toys* – A different craft and activity each day!
Canada Science and Technology Museum– Electrical circuits, flying objects, solar observations and more! Daily activities are planned.
Canada Aviation and Space Museum – A week of activities are scheduled but of note there is the Lego Competition Day March 14.
Ottawa Public Library – Visit the website for activities at your local library!
Orleans Bowling – Special March Break pricing is in effect!
Carlingwood Shopping Centre – Have a superhero wanna be at home? Take them to Carlingwood to learn about superhero training!
Billings Bridge – Little Ray’s Reptiles and Radical Science are just two of the exciting activities lined up at Billings Bridge!
PLUS I am a huge fan of the ‘relax and play at home’ March Break plan, much of which I will be doing next week too!
Whatever you end up doing, have fun!
