It’s a busy time of year in Ottawa! The sun is shining (mostly) and there are many family friendly activities happening in the area.
Here are a few that will be taking place this coming weekend, so mark your calendars! The hardest part is picking which ones to attend. Have fun!
I know many parents (and most importantly, kids) love this event – The Touch A Truck Ottawa Event is taking place on June 1 at Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre. The event is in support of Mothercraft Ottawa. Not only are there 60 vehicles for kids to be in awe of, but also there will be an appearance by Little Ray’s Reptiles, balloons, face painting and more!

2- Shenkman Arts Centre 5th Anniversary
To celebrate their 5th anniversary, Shenkman Arts Centre will be offering Free activities all day (from 9 am until 5 pm) for the whole family! There will be great food, shows on the main stage, an artisan market and creative activities for the kids!
Nature Canada is hosting their annual Bird Day Fair at Andrew Haydon Park on May 31. Take a guided tour, watch the live bird show, make a craft and more. The event is Free!
We went to Touch a Truck today – loved it!
