I don’t own a pair of…

Confession time.

I don’t own a pair of rubber boots.

I know, it’s seems silly, it’s not as though we don’t get any rain or wet days in Ottawa (although right now I’m not sure what to call this weather).

There was a time when I owned 4 different trench coats (I love a great coat) but even now, I don’t have that many any more.  There was one at Tommy Hilfiger last year for a great price and I didn’t buy it because I didn’t need it and now I have regrets.  But back to the rain boots.

I play outside with the kids in my winter boots up until the point I can put on running shoes or just a simple flat. My feet get wet. And yet, I haven’t rushed out to buy rubber boots.

It may be time.  I’m making it a goal in April to buy rubber boots and have dry feet for the spring.

Unless I spend my boot money on a really great trench coat…
