More Pretty Things (and more Downton Abbey Style)

I thought I’d share some more of my pretty dishes from the china cabinet.  This time I am sharing my tea cups. For those of you in love with Downton Abbey like I am, you will understand how I want to use these more as part of an afternoon tea or something.  That’s what they do on the show.  Drink a lot of tea.

Most of these have been handed down to us from our grandmother’s.  I think they are very pretty.  I suspect the use of a tea cup is rather under rated.

This is well-timed, as I was just looking through my china cabinet this morning and bemoaning all the beautiful tea cups that rarely see the light of day. I’ve never really done a Wordless Wednesday, but now I really (really) think I’m start doing a Tea Cup Tuesday. 🙂

I always bust mine out when we have guests over. They are too small for my daily requirement of caffeine…I mean tea!

I have two beautiful tea cups from my husbands grandma’s collection that I love! I keep them far out of reach of the boys 🙂
