With the continued rise of Twitter’s popularity among moms, and the mom blogosphere that already exists, I was interested to see an event directed at moms regarding social media coming to Ottawa, brought to my attention by Natasha D’Souza of Virtual Eye See , the event host(thanks Natasha!).
The event is on May 28th, this coming week, and there is still time to register. The event will focus on moms and grandmothers who just aren’t sure if social media online is for them and ways you can optimize their use. Topics include:
From the website: “We will demonstrate how mommy bloggers, tweeters etc. are a great source of information not just for moms but for companies looking for feedback on their products.”
Tickets are $45. I would be interested in going but it’s in the evening when the two young babes are getting ready for bed (and we still need both of us to get them out!). If you do go, please let me know what you thought. They have future events coming up.
What I like is that it’s specifically designed for moms – you know we love our online blogs and Twitter!
