3 Creative Programs and Workshops in Ottawa you NEED to know about (and attend!)

Long-time blog partners, the Nepean Creative Arts Centre/Nepean Visual Arts Centre, always have the most unique programs and workshops that are so creative and fun. In the past, I’ve attended their Canvas and Cocktails event, and the very fun Holiday craft workshop which involved my entire family.

Once again, this Fall and Winter season they have an amazing line up and I don’t want you to miss out on your favourite workshop. So here are three that I think you’ll love to try!

The Trim Your Tree Workshop

Why? Because your entire family can participate and it’s a really great way to spend time together.

Details:

Trim Your Tree Workshop – TWO DATES
Get into the holiday season by creating a variety of unique handmade ornaments together to decorate your home. Max 4 people per family, must include one adult. Course fee is per family and includes all supplies.

Cooking Classes

Why? Because it’s a great way to learn more skills in the kitchen and socialize with other foodies. (note: These take place at Shenkman Arts Centre!)

There is a waitlist (at the time of this post) for A Taste of Tuscany, and A Taste of Greece, but there are spots for A Taste of Mediterranean!

Photo Transfer workshop

Why? Because it’s a one-time class in November which means it’s perfect timing to create a unique, one-of-a-kind gift for someone.

Image transfer techniques are an easy, modern and creative way to add dimension to any work! Create a unique family photo display on wood artists’ panels to take home. The benefit of this class is that applications are endless. Supplies included.
