The 20 Second Dessert #GayLeaFoods

Sometimes we want to end a delicious meal with something sweet. When I entertain, I always do a dessert.  Between managing the stove and oven and prep for the rest of the meal, any dessert that is quick, easy and tasty is often what I turn to.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, now is a great time to have a can of Gay Lea Real Whipped Cream in the fridge.

Made with real dairy, whipped cream is a fun topping for a lot of desserts.

Looking for something simple to serve after dinner?

Try this 20 second dessert:

Layer in a fancy clear cup or mason jar:

Strawberries

Lemon Curd

Whipped cream.

Repeat the layers.  Serve as a simple, refreshing and delicious dessert!

Sometimes simple is the way to go!

Trust me, I bake and cook a lot but still am always looking for quick go-to recipes to put together.  This one is perfect.

Looking for a variation?

Swap out the lemon curd for a pudding or broken apart cake.

Instead of strawberries, slice bananas and switch the curd for strawberry jam to make a mock sundae.

Just remember – dessert shouldn’t always be a chore.  It’s an indulgence, so find a way to enjoy it!
