I love Fall. This is a wonderful time of year. Mother Nature demonstrates her true beauty, showing off her colours and pleasant temperatures. We also hit holiday season. This is kicked off this weekend with Thanksgiving (for those of us in Canada), followed by Halloween (ok, not a holiday per se but fun none the less!) and leading into Christmas.
This time of year perks my spirits, makes me more productive and generally just makes me smile.
Yes, it gets very busy around here. We host, entertain, shop, bake, clean, plan, prepare for all the above events. School is now in session and in November my husband’s parental leave ends and he heads back to work.
But despite the busier nature of the season, it is welcome. Fall, you are welcome to stay for a while. Please, leave your coat at the day and visit. I’d much rather you than that nasty neighbour of yours called Winter.
