UPDATE: The winner is comment #5! Congratulations Ethel!! Happy blending 😉
I was contacted by a rep from CSN Stores about doing a review or giveaway. After reviewing their website to see the fit and since I love my readers so much (that would be you!) I decided on a giveaway. What’s the catch? Not much really, but I will take the time to tell you about CSN Stores and later how you can win a very cool gadget.
I was impressed with the website for three reasons: 1) They have a huge variety of items – ranging from housewares, kitchen wares, toys, lighting (and specialty items like recessed lighting) and more. 2) The prices are very reasonable. In fact, some were shockingly low 3) While they are in the United States, they ship to the US and Canada – and many products have free shipping associated with them.
I browsed a few things to see what the items prices were like (because I won’t promote anything on this blog that I don’t think is useful or valuable to you) and I was impressed. I think it would be a great spot to purchase unique gifts as well because some items are harder to find or different.
For example, look at this mirror:
It’s so unique and only $45.99!
Or,check out their toys and their ‘career play’ toys – you will make notes for future Christmas gifts.
The Giveaway
As I mentioned the representative from CSN Stores offered my readers a product for a giveaway. I thought something to do with the kitchen would be appropriate given that I talk a lot about cooking on this blog!
You have a chance to win this hand blender
Why did I pick this? Because it’s not something everyone has but I think it’s something everyone should have. I use it to blend the baby’s food (once upon a time), make quick milk shakes, salad dressing and more. This particular item comes with an attachment to do chopping in the bowl too!
How to Win
- Browse the CSNStores.com website and comment below and tell me what kitchen item they sell that you couldn’t live without.
- For an extra entry, subscribe to my blog and leave a comment letting me know. Already a subscriber? Huge thank you!
- Open to Canadian AND US residents (yay!)
- Giveaway ends Friday, June 4th at 9 pm EST.
Thanks and Good Luck!
I have to say good knives – I use mine all the time!

I really like the microplane. I use that all the time for grating ginger, garlic etc. It is so handy!
I’ve never heard of CSN before reading your blog post, but after a little browsing, I must say that I’d be lost without a heat resistant spatula.
Though, discovered when I packed up my kitchen, I can cook with one pot, a wire strainer, a paring knife, a honing steel, a pair of chopsticks, and a spatula.
I also subscribe to your blog via rss on Google Reader.
I couldn’t live without my basic cookie sheet ( SilverStone Simply Baking Nonstick Carbon Steel 10″ x 15″ Cookie Sheet). Use it for more than just baking cookies and is an absolute necessity in my kitchen.
