Disney Junior (a wonderful partner with Bit of Momsense) is celebrating their one year birthday! It’s hard to believe that it’s only been a year since we’ve been watching Mickey Mouse, Special Agent Oso and Jake and The Neverland Pirates together as a family.
To celebrate the birthday, as part of the Disney Junior Mom program, I celebrated with a mini-party with the kids, pirate style.
Firstly, check out the Disney Junior website and all of their online party games. There are celebration printables too! Including one for Jake and The Neverland Pirates. (These colouring pages will keep the kids busy while you set up!)
Next, get ready to make pirate hats!
Use newspaper or a large piece of paper to fold into Pirate hats. Decorate them if you like!
And then I was ready to captain the ship 😉
We played pirate for a bit. Setting up a ‘boat’, heading out to sea. Then suddenly, a storm!!
We were shipwrecked and had a pirate supper I’ve written about eating like pirates before on the momstown page. Check it out!)
Because of the shipwreck, it was hard to find bowls and utensils so we had to eat our spaghetti supper with whatever utensils we could find. It got messy but it was fun!!!
Pirate Parties are fun!!!
Happy Birthday Disney Junior and thanks for encouraging us to celebrate!!
