Recipe: Baked Wild Rice

This is such an easy recipe, it’s almost silly.  I like to use left overs and fry them with egg.  Enjoy!

Baked Wild Rice: Ingredients

2 cups wild rice (or brown rice)

3 1/2 cups of broth (chicken or vegetable.  Or, use a combination of water and broth)

1 tsp garlic salt

2 tsp onion powder

2 celery stalks, chopped

1/2 green or red pepper, chopped

1 cup chopped mushrooms (optional)

dash of pepper

Directions

1-In a casserole dish, combine all the ingredients and stir. Cover with lid.

2-Bake at 350 degrees celcius for 45 minutes.

3-Stir and continue to bake for an additional 20 minutes (or until rice is cooked through)
