We are about to enter (if you haven’t already started) a major gift buying season. This means that there will be more people than just Santa checking their list twice.
Fisher Price toys and gear may be on your holiday shopping list this year. It certainly was on mine (remember the Batman Batcave my son received from Fisher Price back in April? I bought him more pieces to go with it and my daughter is getting more of the new Little People princesses!!).
Fortunately, just in time for the holidays Fisher Price has websaver coupons. Celebrate & Save coupons include items for babies, little ones, toddlers and the bigger kids.
The Fisher Price baby swings are $15 off and the awesome Eagle Talon castle that we got is $10 off. Your little Dora lover may be interested in the the Gymnastics Dora for $5 off AND possibly what I think is one of the coolest new toys this year, the Jake and the Neverlands Pirate ship is $5 off.
Not sure what to get or how they stack up? Check out the Fisher Price website for reviews or ask around. Researching these products is very helpful. And check what the kids like. Sometimes what we think they might not be into turns out to be super popular.
The Little People Princess Songs Palace is in my daughter’s room and she loves it. When we first received it, I figured it was something I wouldn’t usually buy myself, but now that she’s been playing with it, I would have considered it. She really likes it. When I ask her what her favourite thing about the castle is she replied “Cinderella” ;). It was easy to assemble, I don’t find it super loud or the music overbearing like some toys, and she is able to make up stories and have fun.
The Eagle Talon Castle is one of my favourites because I think it’s amazing. There are so many pieces that come with it. My son tends to not play it on his own as much as I’d expect, but when I offer to play, or when friends do, he really likes setting up a battle scene. If you buy it for Christmas morning, take it out of the box and set it up – this is one of those ‘wow’ gifts!
Frankly, I can’t help but strongly recommend any of the DC Super Friends toys. Because, look at them. They are awesome.
Disclosure: I am a Fisher-Price Mom and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
