Recipe Success! Butterscotch Ice Cream

I need to use my ice cream maker more. And by more, I mean, once a week.  Holy cow, it’s pretty amazing throwing ingredients in and having them turn into a sweet treat with nothing cruddy added.

Because my sweet tooth was acting up this week, I suddenly wanted to have butterscotch ice cream so I turned to the internet for a recipe.

I found one that sounded simple enough, and although I swapped out the cream for milk (because that’s all I had and I was desperate), this will be a keeper recipe.

Next time, I will use cream though.  The milk is a bit too icy, not creamy. But the taste, oh the taste was just fine!
