On Saturday, November 9, it’s Neighbourhood Toy Store Day across the country.
The Neighbourhood Toy Stores (NETS) across Canada area celebrating with a day of family fun, sales, special events and more. For a full listing of participating stores in your area, check out the NETS website.
As we enter the holiday shopping season, it’s a really good time to be reminded that shopping local, when possible, is always a fantastic option. We are lucky in Ottawa because there are so many fantastically independent owned shops, retail outlets, bakers, services and more – all owned by friends and neighbours around us.
These small business owners are working hard in our communities to run their business – communities in which they often live themselves (and employ others as well!)
Looking to head out and do some shopping on Neighbourhood Toy Store Day?
