Onyx Litterless Lunch options: A Giveaway
School is back in full swing and I’m still getting used to making two lunches for a full day program. It means many, many containers and a lot more planning than I’ve had to do before.
My friends at Onyx recently sent me some products to try out (and giveaway – stay tuned for more details on that!). I always was familiar with the company because I have a few products such as their stainless steel straws and large container that I use for a compost bin. I was less familiar with their lunch options. It was a pleasant surprise to learn about their many litterless lunch and snack containers!
I was sent 2 snack containers, a double layered sandwich container, a small dip container and an ice pack – all stainless steel. The kids have been using them for the past few days and everyone has been happy with the products.
Why do we like them so far?
Beyond the non-plastic, reusable nature of containers, there are a few reasons we’ve really liked them so far:
- They open easily (and both kids can do it!)
- They are Easy to clean
- The small dip container fits into the other containers
- The many different sizes fit easily into the kids’ lunch bags
By visiting the Onyx shop, it’s quick to see that there are a variety of sizes and options for everyone’s lunch box. I definitely will be buying more dip containers!

I’m having trouble finding a sandwich container. I have a couple of them but they are both to small. One is too shallow and the lid will never fit over the sandwich and the other is too short.!
