Make your own Winter Door Swag

Sometimes, simple is better, right?

Because we have a real tree that requires actual trimming, we ended up with some pieces of tree, doing absolutely nothing.  And because I aspire to be sort of crafty (even if it’s not always that great of an idea) I decided to recycle those tree branches.

With them, I made our front door swag.

It was simple to do (you can do it too!).

I simply tied together some of the nicer looking branches that we had cut. Then, wrapped a ribbon around them.  I tucked in some decorations that I already had lying around – fake pinecone and poinsettas – but you could use plastic ornaments or just a giant bow.

Once it is all secured together, you have your front door accessory! And it cost almost nothing!
