Summer vacation is in full swing. You may be able to tell that based on how quiet the blog has been and how my Instagram feed is basically images of me hanging out in Southern Ontario. We weren’t home for long after the kids ended school before we hopped in the car and headed to see family in Windsor.
We’ve had the most perfect weather in the area all week and we’ve played tourist well. Even though we visit this area a few times a year, and have for the past many years, we still find something new and exciting to do, or we repeat some favourite visits.
This year included Canada Day at a Fort, a visit across the border to watch an MLB game, beach time and plenty of playing at Grandma’s house – including a campfire.
The summer has barely begun, but we’ve already been making the most of it.
