I have a bin full of craft supplies. There’s actually multiple bins, plus bags and baskets that have craft supplies in them. I don’t tend to do a lot of DIY around the house myself, however, when it comes to kid crafting, that’s something I can handle. I’ve always loved creating fun crafts with the kids. I still do, and even though my kiddos are in school full time, I now visit with my nieces and nephew and get creative with them!
In addition to googly eyes, and glue and construction paper, I recommend that everyone has this one item handy for crafting time, and more specifically, for after when the craft or painting is complete: Painter’s Tape.
Why? Because the tape doesn’t pull the paint off your wall, and you can easily add or remove it from artwork. This is the perfect way to display artwork from school temporarily, or the Holiday craft that you make and don’t want to keep around forever.
I’ve used Painter’s Tape to create an art gallery wall. It’s also handy to tape the roll of paper to my table to make a decorate-your-own tablecloth or a giant comic strip. It’s versatile and very handy to have!
The next time you are getting ready to craft or are at your local home reno centre, grab a package of Painter’s Tape for your craft bin. You’ll put it to great use!
Definitely a must have. I went without for a while and was never happy with my craft results because of the sloppy lines. Grab a roll of this and lines will never be more crisp.
yes! Another great tip!! I just love how it doesn’t rip paint off my walls 😉
