What does the Nepean Creative Arts Centre and Nepean Visual Arts Centre have happening this Spring?
As the rain continues to rain down in Ottawa and the flowers bloom, it’s time to encourage the entire family get creative. Thanks to the workshops and classes at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre and Nepean Visual Arts Centre, there are plenty of options for not only the kids but adults too.

Mixing It
Your child’s creative imagination will run wild in this dynamic and creative class. Kids will explore different media like ink, pencil and paint; and artistic styles and techniques like drawing, painting, collage, three-dimensional work and more. Instructor: Patricia Brunelle

Handbuilding – Pottery
Create sculptures and unique projects using traditional handbuilding techniques. Surface decorations, textures and glazing techniques will be introduced. Use your clay masterpiece at home.

As I’ve written about before, I love that there are so many options in this City for our kids to explore their creative side. Swimming, sports and other activities are always popular, but they aren’t for everyone. This Spring, maybe it’s time for everyone to get creative!
