We spent the weekend in Windsor with family. The kids were beyond thrilled and my son kept hoping the van wouldn’t work again when we left (at Christmas, we had the van packed and headed down the highway only to have the engine light come on. It delayed our travels home by a day).
The weekend was as our long weekends in Windsor usually are: Fun, family filled and filling (so much food!).
We flew a kite.
We had a fire and roasted marshmallows (and made s’mores! Grandma’s way of course)
We went for a walk along the water and had ice cream.
We ate and ate and ate.
We hunted for Easter eggs in our pyjamas.
Overall, a wonderful Easter weekend.
I hope you had a wonderful time too. What was your favourite thing you did this weekend?
Egg hunt is one of my favorite game every Easter. I like the picture of the young guy holding a plastic bag. He’s really handsome and cute.
Glad that you all enjoyed a fun and food filled Easter weekend. Easter Egg hunts are such fun for the kids and in my case, the grand-kids. So glad the weather in my area co-operated. It was chilly. Only in Canada will you hunt for Easter Eggs with a winter toque, gloves and a Spring raincoat on:)
