Thanks to Fisher Price, the kids once again had a chance to check out some pretty cool products (yes, they are spoiled. The fact that when any delivery arrives they ask if it’s a toy for them is indicative of that).
While my daughter is especially smitten with the new Little People Disney Princess castle, my son (and daughter for that matter) and let’s be honest, myself, are thrilled with the new Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle.
The fact that it opens up to over three feet is impressive. That is has a bunch of different canons and launches and guys to play with is a lot of fun. The fact that when you shoot a spear to the wall it recognizes that they are under attack blows my mind. This is a lot of fun.
Somewhere while they play though, our children are actually learning and developing.
Does this toy accomplish many of these developmental goals? Absolutely. But remember, it’s still all about the fun.
For example, when you and your mama use a stop motion movie app to create an epic castle battle – that’s all kinds of super fun. I’ll let you watch and enjoy.
Disclosure: I am a Fisher-Price Mom and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own. Movie agents can contact me directly 😉
