Have you seen Frozen yet? I don’t care if you have kids or not, this movie was pretty great. I won’t give too much away but I will say that the messaging about love is lovely and the music is stunning and it’s funny. I’ve described it to a few people as a Broadway cartoon.
We’ve been playing Elsa’s Let It Go over and over again. And Olaf the snowman is adorable – my kids and I walk around and say that things look like a ‘tiny little unicorn’ in his voice.
But want to really blow your kids minds? Let them know that Eugene (Flynn Rider) and Rapunzel (possibly my favourite Disney couple ever) make a cameo appearance in Frozen. They go to Elsa’s coronation. They do! Really! Check out the link below for proof!

Isn’t that great?! I love little details like that in movies.
Meanwhile, here’s the Let It Go video again so that you can sing it all day. It makes me feel empowered!
I love when they have things like that! We haven’t seen the movie but we have the castle and characters and the kids love those. We’ll wait until it’s out on DVD though because a theatre is too much for my little ones (and me!)
ME TOO. I cannot get enough of this song. It’s just so moving and beautiful. I read somewhere that Ilsa was going to be a villain originally, but when the filmmakers heard this song they realized it was too empowering to make her evil – so they changed the storyline. An excellent decision, I think! Loved the movie, love the song :).
