When I started A Little Bit of Momsense I knew I was going to use it to record recipes on top of other things having to do with parenting. I cook not only to serve my family nutritious (when possible) meals, but also because I love food. And with young kids, the reality is that sometimes having delicious, fancy meals means accepting that we all may eat something different.
From the beginning, my intention was to branch off A Little Bit of FoodSense into a new blog, where all the recipes would be housed. It just made sense. Time has gotten away from me, but finally, I think I should start doing that more. Posting recipes on this blog soon became one of my favourite things to do. As with most food, it’s best when shared. No matter how good a recipe is, it’s always better when others can enjoy it too, or make it their own by subbing in different ingredients (something I do with most recipes no matter where the source).
Since I know how wonderful it is to share a recipe, and since I certainly am learning about new recipes from others all the time, I am looking for some other food lovers who want to share their recipes on A Little Bit of FoodSense. In addition to posting my own recipes (that are delicious and mostly healthy in nature), I will be acting as editor of the site and am looking for about 4-6 regular contributors, submitting about one recipe a week. This is going to be a great collaborative food blog (because I don’t like to eat alone!) – and I’ll be setting up a new site so it will look pretty 😉
Are you interested? Do you feel this is a good fit?
-You love sharing recipes or information about food
-You feel you have a certain ‘specialty’ area: For example, desserts, baking, cooking for kids, seafood
-You are able to provide about 1 recipe a week
-You want to work with me! (ha!)
You deserve something too
I would love to pay you. No really, I think bloggers should be paid. But right now, my little bloggy business just isn’t there. So while this would be an unpaid gig, I will promote your blog and website with permanent links on the FoodSense website, Twitter, Facebook and other ways if possible.
What do you think? Want to join the team?
I will be limiting contributors to about 4-6, so please send me a brief email (info@bitofmomsense.com) telling me about yourself, your food interest/types of recipes you’d like to submit and what makes you have some FoodSense 😉
