We took a short trip to the Niagara area with the kids this weekend, something we typically do this time of year. I love going there. The landscape, the greenery, the wineries, the food, the places to stay (we stay at the Inn on the Twenty), the history and places to visit all attract us back year after year.
We spend a lot of time on these weekends chatting about our goals and plans as a family. What motivates us in our day-to-day grind and how to maximize that time. Over the years, travel and time together as a family has become a priority, and weekends away like this only serve to secure that plan for all of us.
More to come about our visit to Fort George (as you know, we love that sort of thing!) in a future post, but in the meantime, I think I’m going to try to get the kids to bed early tonight; something they didn’t do all weekend long.
I wish we had bumped into each other! We had a great weekend too.
when we were at the Falls I kept half an eye looking for you! That would have been fun. We couldn’t have asked for better weather! Glad to hear you had a great time 😉
