It’s almost April already! April showers bring May flowers? What does it mean when March has degrees in the negatives and mid-twenties?
Either way, as always, there’s lots happening in and around Ottawa over the next couple of weeks for families and parents. Here’s a sampling of what’s happening at the end of March, early April.
Have an event to add? Feel free to do so in the comments!
March 29 and 30: Leanne Phillipson-Webb (author of the baby/toddler owner of Sprout Right, a nutrition consulting company) is hosting baby food making workshops at The Urban Element for babies and toddlers. Visit the website for sign up details.
March 31: Little Lotus Yoga is having a family open house for children and their parents/caregivers from ages 3-8 on Saturday. Register to ensure space – more details on the Little Lotus Yoga Facebook Page.
March 31 and April 1: At Nepean Sportsplex is the Capital Parent & Kids Show. Looks like fun for the whole family, including an appearance by Dora and Diego!
Until April 9: The Children’s Museum (Museum of Civilization) will be having their Much More Munsch Exhibit until April 9. Now’s the time to check it out!
April 6-9: Easter on the Farm: BABY ANIMALS! Sorry, but that’s one reason to check out the Agriculture Museum over Easter weekend. There’s lots of activities for everyone including baking, an egg hunt and meeting the chicks (baby birds of course).
Don’t forget, it will be the end of Maple season soon so be sure to check out a local sugar bush to enjoy all of the maple goodness!
