Do you remember the episode of the Simpsons where Homer buys Marge a Bowling Ball for her birthday because he really wants it and figures it will become his by default (although she goes on to spite him by taking bowling lessons…) Anyway, Andy and I always joke when we get a gift that really could be for either of us that it’s the bowling ball.
The bowling ball I got him for Christmas was a waffle iron. We have now had waffles every week since. Okay, it hasn’t quite been every week but pretty close. They are so good! It’s a meal all of us love, and there’s leftovers for school lunches (usually.)
I have been using the following recipe and it is so delicious. And it’s no secret that I love breakfast for dinner. Trust me, you will be wanting to buy your own bowling ball, er, waffle iron, soon if you don’t already have one!
