My excitement that is relayed in the titles is actually partly representative of the excitement my son has expressed in seeing the Bananas in Pyjamas commericals on Disney Junior. He keeps asking when the show is on.
Good news, dear son, the show (although different than the format we may remember when he was younger) returns on February 18th for a special week of PJ fun!
What’s the deal with Bananas in Pyjamas? It was a live action show with characters (Bananas) dressed in, well, pyjamas and they ended up in different silly scenarios. It was bizarre and fun and well liked by my son.
In the recent years, we haven’t seen it much on TV, and certainly very little since my daughter was born.
Now, Disney Junior is bringing back the characters in a new animated series! (Listen to the Banana Detectives commercial and be cursed with that song in your head all day!)
They are celebrating with a week long pyjama party starting February 18. Then, the show will be in the regular schedule in March. Check out the show and enjoy!
Meanwhile, the Valentine’s Day episodes of the kids’ favourite shows have been airing as well, but if you missed them you can catch them on Valentine’s Day again! Set the PVR.
