This was my first year as a Fisher Price Mom and I have to say it’s been a lot of fun. My kids have reaped the most benefit I think since every so often, a package of new, cool toys arrive at their door to play with. The bat cave was probably my favourite to date. My daughter would likely pick the Little People Disney Princess Palace. The tea set is now at Nanny and Grandpa’s and is played with a lot there!
Since I was a child, Fisher Price has been making toys that all ages can love. There are age suggestions on their toys, but if safety isn’t an issue, I encourage the kids not to even think about who should be playing with what – my son happily plays with the Fisher Price barn still, and my daughter has been Batman and Robin on an adventure many times.
The point of it all is to have fun, to develop imaginations and encourages simple play. There are sounds and minimal movements on these toys, but they aren’t over stimulating, they aren’t exhausting for the kids.
Fisher Price is appearing under my Christmas tree this year. Not because they sent me the items, but because I decided to add to each of the kids’ collections and I know they will like it.
And even if you don’t have kids, and are looking to gift a new baby or mom with something, remember that Fisher Price gave my sister some amazing gifts at her baby shower? These options are wonderful additions for baby.
This month, Fisher Price has donated a baby bouncer on my behalf to a local charity, the Orleans Cumberland Community Resource Centre. I greatly appreciate their generosity.
They are also sending me a gift to give to someone that I care about, just because. It warms my heart when I can do that.
Now, if you will excuse me, I have a Batman vehicle and Little People to wrap 🙂
Disclosure: I am a Fisher-Price Mom and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
