Despite the renovation plans for our living/dining/kitchen being paused over the summer, we are shifting gears, regrouping and continuing to beautify our main floor.
Last weekend, we started by painting most of the main floor. We still have the entry way, up the stairs and down the basement stairs to do, but most of the main walls have been complete.
Furniture has been ordered and a lot of it being shipped this week and next (that will be a separate post!) but I am so in love with the paint colour. Depending on the light, there is a blue tone to it which is beautiful. Other times the grey comes out more clearly.
We were fortunate again because our designer, Meredith, picked the colour for us. She gave us a couple of options and we all agreed this was our favourite. It’s Sherwin Williams Mineral Deposit. (Ottawa friends – I went with Sherwin Williams on Innes because I continue to receive excellent customer service there. I used the Harmony paint which doesn’t give off that yucky chemical smell and goes on beautifully).
Andy and I worked hard but here’s a peek at how the main floor is shaping up!!
Over the next couple of months, we’ll be seeing even more changes. YAY!
