It seems like such a simple idea, but sometimes I forget how accessible nature is in our crafting plans.
We’ve been picking up and bringing back clam shells found on PEI beaches for years but I never really know what to do with them. I finally decided that it would be a nice souvenir for the kids to paint them as they wish and keep them in their room.
This activity can be done with rocks or pieces of bark/sticks found outside as well. A bonus – the entire activity can be done outside as well so the extra fresh air is a perk!
Simply gather your shells (or rocks) and paint as you see fit.
