I know, I know, it’s a cult classic, but guess what? I had never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas. I was thirteen when it came out, so it should have completely appealed to my brooding teenage self. It was a Disney movie, about two holidays that I loved. How did I never watch it? No idea.
But we finally did. And loved it. It was a fun, spooky but sweet movie experience. It was short and the music was completely stand out. What is This and This is Halloween are etched in my brain forever.
I’m glad that Netflix has it available, otherwise I likely would never have sat down to watch it. There are other Halloween themed flicks that you and your family can watch together (we LOVE Hotel Transylvania!) and as we head into Halloween weekend, it is the perfect time to cuddle up and watch a movie.
