I spent this past weekend in Calgary with the fabulous Jennifer, owner of BeautyGram.
BeautyGram is celebrating their 4th birthday this month, and I’ve been lucky enough to have been working with the company on social media for 3 years now. It’s been a fantastic gig, one that has not only taught me a lot and stretched my creative muscles but also introduced me to the fun, friendly, savvy Jennifer Ruparell *insert cheers*
This weekend we worked on some BeautyGram planning for the Fall and Holiday season, and while this is the first time we have met in person (all other work has been done via email, telephone and Skype) it’s as though we meet like this regularly.
In the meantime, the family had a daddy-only weekend at home and from the sounds of it, they are having a great time (no surprise).
It’s a busy season with Blissdom Canada just around the corner (you can read about my Community Lead Session on creating great content here) and I’m excited to learn with, and from, many friends and colleagues at the event.
I was back to my regular schedule when the glamour of flying across the country for work wears off and I’m hustling to get the kids out the door in time for school.
Please check out BeautyGram when you have a moment and give a high-five to a Canadian Company!
Sounds like lots of fun! Isn’t it nice when you meet someone and it feels some comfortable 🙂
